HEAR ME Project Mission Statement

Inspire: young people to examine their personal vulnerability to HIV/AIDS and other critical health and education issues.

Motivate: young people to express themselves in writing, music and art so they can share their thoughts and experiences and be heard in a variety of venues.

Create: opportunities for at-risk youth to connect with celebrity film-makers, writers, actors, musicians, playwrights, artists, health scientists and educators about critical issues facing youth and communities today.

Influence: attitudes and social norms of high-risk youth toward personal responsibility, empowerment, future goal setting and other research-driven messages.
